What Is TAB?
Join the Teen Advisory Board! We want to make the library more inviting for teens, and we need your input. This year, TAB will also be creating a TAB's Top Ten list that teens can use to find great books for summer reading and beyond. It’s fun, and there are always snacks.

Who: TAB is open to anyone in 7th – 12th grade who lives in Downers Grove. Read bios of current TAB members.

What: Meet with other teens who are interested in getting involved in the library. We eat snacks, play games, help plan the Teen Summer Reading Club, and choose books to nominate for the Teens’ Top Ten list.

Where: In the meeting room.

Why: Because it gives you the chance to tell us what you want the library to be like. You also get to read the newest teen books before they’re published. Did we mention the snacks?

When: One Friday per month from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.

You’ve got questions? We’ve got answers. Email us or call the library at (630) 960–1200 and ask for Heather in the Literature Department.
