Voter Registration
You may register to vote at the Circulation Desk during
regular library hours. Bring two forms of
identification, one with your current address. Naturalized
citizens must know the date and location of their naturalization.
Voter registration closes thirty days prior to every
election (local, state, and federal). The week before
registration closes is always quite busy. To avoid long lines, register early. Students
who will be away from home can request an application
for an absentee ballot, and we will mail it to their
school address. Please allow sufficient time so you will
receive the absentee ballot in time to vote.

-
Even if you are living at the same address,
if your name changes, you need to register to vote
again.
-
Any time you have an address change, whether you move from a different
county, or within DuPage County, you must re-register using your new address.
-
Students who are under 18 can register to vote as
long as they will be 18 at the time of the next election.
