Historic 820 Maple Avenue

The current owner for more than 75 years is Gen Pfaff Dolatowski. According to the book Downers Grove 1832 to 1982, the house was built in the late 1800s. It originally sat and the corner of Maple and Belden and has been owned by the Beldens, the Curtiss', the Lymans, the Methodist Church, and the Pfaffs. It has ten-foot ceilings and its original windows downstairs, front porch posts, and spindled fretwork.
