Good Books Galore in the Junior Room
Summer Reading Club may be over but there's still time for some terrific summer reading. Check out the suggestions at Great Reads, and don’t forget to visit What the Junior Room Is Reading every month to see the books the Junior Room staff are enjoying.

Pajama Storytime Is Thursday, August 28 at 7:30 p.m.
Children of all ages—come in your pajamas and bring a stuffed animal, too! Registration begins Thursday, August 14. Group limit: 75.

BookFlix Builds Reading Skills
BookFlix is a new online literacy resource for readers ages preschool through third grade that pairs classic video storybooks with related nonfiction eBooks to build a love of reading and learning. BookFlix reinforces early reading skills and introduces children to a world of knowledge and exploration and includes activities for children, a “Meet the Author” section, a place to explore the Web for more information on the topic, and links to other books that the children may enjoy.
