If you have never tried the Internet, cannot use a mouse, and dont know what a URL looks like, this session is for you. This is a hands-on class for people who want to review basic computer skills before using the Internet. Well cover: mouse skills, browser functions, privacy issues, enlargement of screen text, bookmarks, and printing. Webcams or Mapquest will be included if time permits. Skills needed: none. Well explore a few simple techniques to access a wide variety of Internet sites, including weather, news, financial and magazine options. Drop-off your favorite stuffed animal at the Junior Room desk for a fun weekend sleepover at the library! Miss Mouse will show your stuffed animals around the library when no humans are around. Photos are goodie bags will be waiting when you pick up youre animal on Monday. Group Limit: 20 stuffed animals; one per child.
