Fiction Book Discussion

We'll meet at the library to discuss Longbourn by Jo Baker Jo Baker takes us beyond the drawing rooms of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and reveals the behind the scenes stories of the servants and the gritty day to day events faced by the lower classes in Regency England during the Napoleonic Wars. This novel has many similarities to Jane Austen's novel, but tells a compelling story of it's own. Books are available at the Ask Us Desk one month before each discussion. Registration is not required.

Saturday Morning Storytime

Join us each Saturday morning for stories, songs, and fingerplays. Parent participation is an important part of this storytime, and attending children must be supervised by an adult. Registration is not required. Storytimes attended by eight or fewer people may be canceled by the storyteller.

Microsoft® Word 2007 Intermediate
