Nonfiction Book Discussion

Monday, August 4, 2014 - 7:30pm to 9:00pm
We'll meet at the library to discuss Five Days at Memorial: Life and Death in a Storm-ravaged Hospital by Sheri Fink. Check at the Ask Us Desk for exact location!

Hurricane Katrina ravaged New Orleans at horrific human cost. This is the nail-biting account of a hospital with critical patients, an extended power outage, and delayed rescue efforts that forced staff to make questionable life and death decisions. Part thriller and part legal drama, this thought-provoking book will keep readers on the edge of their seats.
