Saturday Morning Storytime

1893 World's Columbian Exposition

The book The Devil in the White City generated renewed interest about the 1893 World's Fair held in Chicago. This program focuses on the history of the fair, the design of the fairgrounds, a selection of important buildings, and contributors such as Daniel Burnham and Louis Sullivan. Presented by art historian Jeff Mishur.
