Unbound Book Discussion

A new group is in town for book discussions, trivia, and more!

This time we're discussing Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn. In Flynn’s first psychological thriller, investigative reporter, Camille Preaker, returns from Chicago to her hometown of Wind Gap, Missouri on-assignment from her editor to flesh out the story behind the murders of two preteen girls.

Copies are available to pick up and read beforehand from the Ask Us Desk. Don't have time to read it? That's Ok! Grab a drink and chat with us anyway. Registration is not required, just drop by.

Fiction Book Discussion

Nonfiction Book Discussion

We'll meet at the library to discuss The Astronaut Wives Club by Lily Koppel.

It is 1959 and the Space Race with Russia is in full force. NASA has selected seven astronauts to go into space, leaving their wives and families here on earth. The wives rally to support each other and their young families as the media circus around them grows. The fashionable young wives keep brave smiles on as their husbands fly in a death-defying orbit around the earth and the nation collectively holds its breath for their safe return.

Nonfiction Book Discussion

We'll meet at the library to discuss Five Days at Memorial: Life and Death in a Storm-ravaged Hospital by Sheri Fink.

Hurricane Katrina ravaged New Orleans at horrific human cost.
