Adult Lego Meetup

Who says kids are the only ones who love Legos? Join us for drinks, dinner, and conversation while you build. We'll provide the Legos, but you're welcome to bring your own too! Finished products will be displayed at the second floor Ask Us Desk. Ages 21+.

Meet the Artist: Brian Murray

Meet the artist behind the Color of Light painting exhibit displayed in the cafe gallery. Brian Murray's influences include former art professors Jennifer Hereth and Gary Schirmer, the Impressionists, and contemporary landscape painter Scott Naismith. His main focus of this exhibit "is on the scattering of light and the combination of all the various color palettes." See Brian Murray's work on display through October 31.

One Author, One Community: Elizabeth Strout

Eleven area libraries are coming together to host Pulitzer award-winning author, Elizabeth Strout! Strout is the author of popular titles Olive Kitteridge and Amy & Isabelle, and her newest book, My Name is Lucy Barton, was released in early 2016. The author visit will consist of a moderated discussion with Rebecca Vnuk, a Q&A with the audience, and a book signing.
