Learn to locate the European place of origin of German immigrants using examples from the speaker's own research.
An introduction to city directories explaining why and how to use them. A case study will demonstrate how ancestors can be found using these directories. There will be time at the end to practice using these resources. Some laptops will be available for use. Please bring your own laptop or device if possible.
