enhancements for the library.
With a $100 donation, you'll get a 4" x 8" brick
inscribed with your name, favorite saying, or message.
A $250 donation entitles you to personalize an 8" x
8" brick. Two benches are also available for sponsorship.
Your contribution goes to the Downers Grove Public Library
Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, and is
tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Over the past ten years, hundreds of families and friends
have added their names to the original Garden Walk, located
at the corner of Curtiss Street and Forest Avenue. More
than 800 inscribed bricks were placed during the first
phase, which began in 1999 with the opening of the renovated
library. Funds raised were used to purchase art now located
around the library.
