Donating Materials

The library accepts donations of books and other materials except encyclopedias, textbooks, and magazines (including National Geographic). Items that are damaged or considered unsuitable for circulation or sale may not be accepted. These donations may be added to the collection if they meet the library's collection development criteria.

Most items are not added to the collection but are placed on the Book Sale Shelf near the Curtiss Street entrance. The money raised from selling books is used to buy new materials.

Donors are responsible for bringing the items to the library. Small quantities may be brought to the Circulation Desk.
