With farmlands to the west, the skyline of Chicago to the east, and a stylized depiction of Downers Grove in between, a colorful mural graces the wall of the Junior Room's picture book section, which was created by artist John McDavitt. A train, which was donated by Gregory Family, circles the tracks in front of the mural.
